Travelling to Elbrus
The closest airport to Elbrus is Mineralnye Vody which is reached via Moscow. We would strongly recommend you to fly with Aeroflot as if there are any problems with connections they will look after you in Moscow. If you arrive in Moscow with another carrier they are not always the best at this.
If you would like to extend your Russian adventure and visit Moscow on the way to or from the mountain please get in touch and we can arrange accommodation, city-guides and any other service or help you may need. This needs to be booked before you make your Visa Application as it can be difficult to extend your visa at a later date.
