What we offer…

Intro Week

We will introduce you to the equipment and techniques needed to travel safely through the Winter Mountains. Based in Chamonix we will begin with some familiarization short tours close to the ski area and we will finish the week with a night or two in a hut in the high mountains.

Chamonix Day tours -6 days

Stay in Chamonix and get out and experience the best of the wilderness around the area.
Depending on the conditions we will explore areas away from the crowds such as the Aiguilles Rouges, Col de Passon, Glacier D'Argentiere, Hellbroner and the famous Valley Blanche.

Haute Route -8 days

The most famous ski touring journey in the World, the Haute route follows a high level traverse from the town of Chamonix in France to Zermatt in Switzerland.
The eight day trip passes through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Alps, with ever changing views across stunning glaciers and high passes, with some long climbs followed by fantastic descents to reward your hard work. We will start the week with a training and familiarization day in the Chamonix area and then stay in mountain refuges for the rest of the trip, so you do not need to carry excessive food or sleeping equipment, just the essential ski touring kit and some food for during the daytime.

Gran Paradiso 6 days

The Gran Paradiso National park is one of the most stunning areas in Italy to explore on skis. Over the course of a week will explore two separate valley's enjoying some great Italian cuisine, local wine and great coffee. The skiing opportunities are endless, we will spend a couple of nights exploring the Val d'Rheims from the Benevolo hut before spending a night in the valley then move onto the Val Savaranche to climb the Gran Paradiso.

Silvretta Alps 6 days

The Silvretta Alps in western Austria were made for ski touring with loads of mountains around 3000m, glaciers without too many crevasses and some of the best huts in the Alps. Over the course of 6 days we will attempt to traverse this beautiful area starting and finishing in Ischgl. We will spend each night in a different hut crossing passes, climbing superb peaks and enjoying some great skiing along the way.

West Oberland Haute Route

Ski from Les Diablerets to Kandersteg enjoying some superb huts and skiing along the way.

Bernese Oberland

An awesome place for high alpine adventure, trips can travel through the Oberland taking in some great ski peaks along the way or with a smaller group we can climb some of the Oberland’s famous 4000m peaks.

Skiing the Russian Arctic Kola Peninsula

The Kola Peninsula in the Russian arctic is a great place for a ski adventure. Fly to St Petersburg then take an overnight train to the Arctic where we will spend 9 days skiing before a night in Murmansk then fly back to St Petersburg to explore this fascinating city.

Western Caucasus 6th-20th Feb 2010

The caucuses are the roof of Europe with Elbrus it’s crown, many people visiting this region focus on Elbrus and miss the fantastic touring opportunities in the surrounding valleys, here the mountains are lower 3000-3500m and the snow is better as it is not so wind affected as the high altitude peaks.

The plan for the trip is to explore 3 valley systems in the Western Caucuses region of the Russian Federation. The Caucuses offers unlimited ski touring options and visiting in February we hope to take advantage of the great powder skiing conditions that are often found at this time of year.

Norway Ski by boat

Norway is a country made for skiing, the high Arctic town of Tromso will be the start of our adventure, and we will spend a couple of days in the local area before joining our boat for 6 days exploration of the Lyngen Alps. We will be dropped off each morning ski then be collected from a different place maybe crossing an island or a peninsula on the way.

Ski Kashmir

Gulmarg in Kashmir has one of the highest ski lifts in the world and a great snow record. Fly to Delhi then Srinigar where a bus will take us into the mountains. We will use the lift to gain access to some amazing off piste terrain and touring. What better than skiing powder during the day and eating curry at night?
